Welcome to the Openreach Industrial Relations (IR) Self Assessment tool. You are invited to take part in this self-assessment questionnaire, which forms part of an IR upskilling initiative to develop and enhance the skills of our HR Community.
The strength of IR skills and knowledge within the specialist IR community is well understood by Openreach and wider business circles, but it is clear that if we are to progress as a business, IR needs to become a core capability for all managers. As a first and key step, we need to extend this capability to the HRBP community.
By completing this self-assessment, you will help Openreach understand and respond to your IR capability needs. We would be grateful if you could spend 20–30 minutes completing the questionnaire. The quality and accuracy of the information generated by this assessment is dependent on you, so please take time to read and respond honestly and accurately to each item.
All responses, which are be kept confidential, will be collated and analysed to initially develop a core foundation IR workshop and then, moving forward, supplement this with a number of self-select modules which can be discussed with your line manager.
